Ingredients
4 medium White Pitta Bread | |
100 g Quark | |
1 clove(s) Garlic, crushed | |
300 g Spinach, chopped frozen, thawed and drained of excess water | |
1 large Tomato, beefstake, thinly sliced | |
50 g Feta Cheese, crumbled | |
1 teaspoons (level) Oregano, Dried | |
1 pinch Salt, season to taste | |
1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper, season to taste |
Instructions
- Preheat oven to Gas Mark 6/400ºF/200ºC.
- Arrange pittas on a large baking sheet. Combine Quark and garlic; spoon mixture over pittas, to within ½ inch of the edges. Top with spinach, tomato and feta; sprinkle with oregano and seasoning.
- Bake until edges of pittas are golden, about 12 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- When you feel like packing in more veggies, pile them high with sliced mushrooms, butternut squash, diced aubergine and the like.
