Ingredients
350 g Lean Beef Mince (10% fat), cooked | |
1 medium Onion, All Types, chopped | |
1 can(s) (large) Tinned Tomatoes | |
2 tablespoons (level) Tomato Purèe | |
200 ml Water | |
2 teaspoons (level) Chilli Powder | |
1 teaspoons (level) Ground Cumin | |
105 g White Pasta, dry, preferably macaroni | |
1 can(s) (large, drained) Kidney Beans, cooked, drained and rinsed |
Instructions
- In a large frying-pan, cook beef and onion until meat is brown, about 10 minutes; drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato puree, chilli powder and cumin; bring to a boil.
- Stir in uncooked macaroni and kidney beans. Return to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 15 minutes.
- To serve, spoon into bowls.
